Outfit Journal: My birthday 🥳

Last week I turned 31! It was a very low key birthday and I had this feeling like celebrating my birthday will become less and less of an occasion as I get older. I was grateful to the people who showed up for me in person, through text and calls and I am super happy to be in the position I am right now in life. God has given me so much and on birthdays remembering that hits so much harder.

Anyway enough with the sentimentalities, after this is a fashion blog and even when I feel like it’s not important, I still have to put that shit on.

I picked a low key outfit and my go to for birthdays, the ever present LBD. This particular one is from Skims and was lost in my closet until I made up my mind I wasn’t going to spend any money on a new dress. This one became the default.

As for shoes, I didn’t have something super interesting to pair it with so I purchased a pair of Off-White silver confetti heels (self described I have no idea the real name or what collection it belongs to). They are the perfect shoe to dress up a simple outfit and I'm excited to style the, with other outfits like a plain white tank and vintage Levis!.

I celebrated with my close friends who made me feel really special. I am not the typical Leo so I actually get flustered when the attention is on me so it was a bit awkward to have such an event (I usually just do a solo trip for my bday) but I am happy I tried it out. I think it is my first time ding a birthday dinner at least in my adult life.

I am looking forward to growing in all aspects of life in this new year! I have new items on the site for sale- accesories and new clothing items will be coming later in the week. Everyone have a beautiful day!
